Assistant Public Defender I

The Middle Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office is seeking to fill two Assistant Public Defender I positions. The chosen candidates must be willing to relocate to the Middle Circuit.  Primary duties include representing indigent clients with criminal case(s) in Superior Court. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities for the position. Applicants must be a current member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. Superior organizational skills and a strong commitment to indigent defense are also required. Although interviews will be scheduled as soon as possible, the deadline for submission is November 30, 2016 or until the position is filled.
